KTM's Angel Atwell & Josh Kirkland Podium at River Ranch GNCC
River Ranch, FL (3/3/2010) - FRE/KTM ATV GNCC riders Angel Atwell and Josh Kirkland got off to a great start both landing on the podium at the opening round of the GNCC Series.
Atwell, the defending Women’s Pro Champion, hit the course first in the 2-hour morning race. She nailed the holeshot and led the pack around the first two laps. Atwell pit at the tail end of the second lap just a little over an hour into the race. While she pit she was passed by three of the women riders behind her. Now, nearly three-quarters of the way into the race, lappers began to play a roll in the outcome. Atwell managed to pass one of the competitors but was held up by a few lappers and lost precious time to the top two riders. After a tough race through the Florida sand whoops she was happy to finish third for the day. READ MORE...

Employees of Custom Axis Racing Shocks Live, Breathe Off-Road
I don’t know about you, but if I were a racer of ATVs, I would select products made by manufacturers who have more interest in the field than just a 9 to 5 job. I would want people who are also racers and who have been making quality products for a while.
Well, that’s the case with the staff of Custom Axis Racing Shocks. First, you know that quality is priority one when you learn that Custom Axis is associated with Penske Racing Shocks. Second, you have to feel secure when you hear that the staff of Axis ride motocross motorcycles every week. Moreover, many who work for Axis are part of the Penske staff, and many of them compete in American Motorcycle Association events. Also, the company’s short track technicians drive Sprint cars. In fact, one engineer raced Super Motard. “Everyone here is passionate about racing in one form or another,” explained James Arentz, technical director for both Custom Axis Racing Shocks and Penske Racing Shocks.
